8 Changes that I would like to see, prior to next game.

If I see one more person suggest cousins should play over Griffin I'm going to lose my mind. That has to be one of the stupidest possible opinions a redskins fan could have about the team. Cousins is Grossman 2.0 for Christ's sake! He isn't good. Maybe rg3 wasn't good last year either but he was coming off a MAJOR injury and way too early at that. Meanwhile in his rookie season he carried his team to the playoffs and was an ideal leader for his team during one of the greatest rookie seasons EVER. Why the hell would you give up on that so quickly?? And while I realize he may never reach that level I don't see a situation where he doesn't end up as a quality starting qb you can build around.

Its not "just one game", this has been going on since end of the Seahawks playoff game. If RG3 had a better attitude I would be able to support him. But due to his incilent nature and the chain of events he has stired (getting Mike fired) that cannot be undone, I as a fan will hold him accountable for them. Could I forgive, sure, but only if the person in question can admit the error of their ways by showing some humility. To me RG3's demenure is unacceptable given his performance and your continued support enables him and delays the process of figuring out if he is capable of change.

Did you not notice that after the game in his presser he actually said that after reviewing the stats they appeared like those of a team who had scored 25 to 30 points and they just have to punch it in and eliminate turnovers? I wont support that kind of talk! OWN IT! YOU SCORED SIX POINTS! tell us I sucked today and I will do everything in my power to do better. Tell us that the fans deserve better! look like you give a shit!

Once he gets booed and booed and the fans start chanting Cousins name. Then he will begin to give a shit.

Dude.. .really.. you trying to steal my job??

I will give him credit. He did take responsibility more than I expected him to. Him trying to put a less harsh light on it I expected. to be honest, if he learns to pull the trigger sooner and develops some pocket awareness he MIGHT be ok. But right now Im not going to prop up an average QB which is what we have. We did enough of that with Campbell.

What makes Nick Foles so much better than Kirk Cousens? My answer would be the players around him...This year our team has play makers in spades! We just need to properly distribute the ball....

Cousens is a leader, he has a quick tempo getting offense to line of scrimmage, hes smart and instinctive, has good awareness in the pocket and he has a quick release. He is much better then Grossmen ever was. I think he reminds me of a young Joe Theismen in some ways.


Its funny RG3 gets so much love. I've been rocking the Alfred Morris Jersey since 2012. He is the type of football player and person I think any player should aspire to be. Alfreds what its all about. He's the one that deserves the fan fare!

Griffin gets the love because no one wants to think about how bad the trade looks and how much it hurt the team if he turns out to be simply a little better than Jason Campbell. Do I think Cousins will lead us to a Super Bowl?? honestly no. But then I dont expect a 4th rounder to be the next Brady. I do expect a guy we traded half a draft for to be better than Jason Campbell on his best day though. I do think, if it had been an open comp, Cousins would have won the starting job. But for what we gave up, that is never going to happen.

The worst case scenario is the skins keep starting griffin as he loses game after game and we only start cousins at the end of the year after other players have packed it in and are not giving a full effort. Then we let Cousins go via FA or even worse trade him to appease RG3, only to watch him become a great player somewhere else.

Thats funny. the only people who say, who cares what we gave up are people who defend him no matter what. Supporting the team says you want whats BEST for the team, even if that means admitting the team made a mistake. Smart teams commit to a plan, dumb teams commit to a player at ANY cost.

No one gave up 4 draft picks for Stafford or Ryan. I dont hate RG3.. I hate all the excuses made for him. the same excuses I saw for another QB we had a few years back.
