Where's Gearrin?

Bases loaded, single and two walks.

Not sure why Bum started the 7th, other than being Bum. The bully is rested, it's a winnable game against a hot team.
He started the inning at something like 87 pitches. It was a no-brainer.

It was a ball, but that has been called a strike against us tonight.

Was eating dinner at the time, so I know this is old news by now but I have a question about this.

So if a player is standing on the warning track and the ball hits off their glove over the fence, it's a homer. Why doesn't the same logic apply here? If a player is standing in foul territory and the ball hits off their glove into fair territory, it's foul.

It makes no sense (to me)
Good point but the announcers said it's where the ball hits the player (either fair or foul) that counts in this situation.
