Didn’t this MFer torch us last time we played?

It's really too bad that Aramis Garcia can't get his feet off the ground in AA. If he was hitting better in AAA, I'd be all for this for a couple of weeks to get Posey right. He's not even hitting well enough to be a backup right now.
Are you trying to tell me you aren't feeling either of Trevor Brown, Ryan Hanigan or Ronnie Freeman (the best hitting of the three, which isn't saying much, at all) playing for SF for a couple weeks?

He doesn’t have to go to the DL. Just let Hundley start for 3 consecutive series’.

The dude is starting to look like minor league depth, unfortunately.

There's one on every team. He's also the dude that took away Bumgarner's double.
He was 4-9 with 2 runs and an RBI against us last year. I seem to remember him playing well. Maybe he made a defensive gem in the series?

Can the series' finale be Ty Blach vs. Jeremy Bleich. I'm sure there's a fan of the A's that goes by tsill who is ticked he is not starting over Brett Anderson.

How do you do 11 HRs with only 29 RBI??

How is that even possible?

And he was considered the best catcher in the draft the year we got him.
He looked good, offensively, last year in his 22 game Richmond stint. His repeat could kill his career.

That year's draft, in terms of catchers, is looking really light. So far, catchers who've made it to the big leagues from the 2014 draft:
Kyle Schwarber - converted to outfield. Decent hitter. 1st round.
Mark Zagunis - 3rd round pick by Cubs. Also converted to outfield. Appeared in 12 games for Cubs in 17-18.
Grayson Greiner - A catcher who has actually caught in the big leagues! 3rd round pick by Tigers. Played a handful of games with Tigers in May and June.
John Bormann - 19th round pick by Angels but did not sign. Drafted next year by Pirates and made one appearance with them last year.

Obviously, there is still time for some others to come up, but looking at the other 3 catchers drafted in the first round that year - Max Pentecost is also hitting poorly in AA for Blue Jays; Blake Anderson hasn't made it out of low A ball for Marlins and isn't even playing this year; and Chase Vallot struggling in A+ ball.

The dude is starting to look like minor league depth, unfortunately.

He looked very good in the Fall League, but maybe too much playing, and not enough rest.

And to be fair, the Eastern League is a pitcher's league, and hardly anyone hits well there.

AG is hitting better of late. In the last month, he is hitting a respectable .272 with 6 homers and 11 RBI's with 5 walks and 16 K's in 66 at bats.

He needed a lot of reps that year. He lost a lot of time due to injuries
