As MSG often says .... one batter too late ... i think it was great that Webb went 7. Not sure i would have brought him out for the 8th. Didn’t matter though ... Alverez didnt have it today.
Also not sure what we need to do to get Bart on traxk. Not even sure he made actual contact with his bat today. Still ...taking a series at the Rocks home ... is nice

maybe put him as DH at the back of the line up and have him work on pitch selection and contact (sounds easy, right?). could send him down to do this, but he needs to see major league pitching

I didn’t understand why he went out there for the 8th. Not that he was looking bad, but that just isn’t the way the game is played anymore. Now Alvarez comes in dirty and everything went to shit from there.
