Just the word alone shows how poor of a stat it is. The word connotes keeping the win in the hands of the team with the lead, not getting the last out of a win.

If they changed both the win and the save to subjective stats, both would become much more valuable.

They should still track either holds or saves, but not have two separate stats for it. I prefer them to abolish the save and just call everything holds.
