I think for the most part the team cares, but do the coaches care?
So you think the little kiddies care and the grown adults don't?

As a coach if your players have checked out why are you still playing them?
We need to control the clock. Limit the time that Cook has the ball and suffocate them on Defense.
basically we need to do the exact opposite of what we have been doing all season in order to win this game
That being said. 52-0 Huskers baby!!!!!!
So Eichorst and Riley are circling the wagons together. That can't be good for year one
That tells me there's already been shots across the bow from either the BOR, Boosters, or both.
We dont like to lose by more than 3. They are also considering the pissibility that we lose by 10. Also, i hqvent checked this week, but they had a worse pass efficiency D than us going into last week. We should be able to put up some points. With no one to put pressure on Cook, we could be in store for another bigXII game. 77-76 we get a Pat blocked. Or something stupid will happen. So the line is -4.5 Michigan State???
That thing has some serious stank to it.
This game reminds me of the 07 Nebraska Colorada game.

at this point, i'm just looking for some emotion from the players. an undefeated team coming into our house, they better get themselves up for that shit.
improvement from our DBs too. some pitiful stuff going on there.
offensively, DL to get his head out of his ass. Seriously, i can't believe he said that we were getting behind the chains on runs. seriously, i'm looking at the stat sheet right now (not including Fyfe plays or 3rd down runs):
so the reason i post this, 3 negative rushing plays had DL calling a bunch of passes. notice how the # of runs declines too, 1st 2 drives are a bunch of runs. heck it's 43 yards rushing on the 1st drive which is half the total we have for the day. take that and apply even half of that to our other 1st half drives and we'd be sniffing 100+ in the first half.1st drive (down: yards)
1: 4
1: 1
2: 20
1: 3
2: 18
1: 2
2: -5
FG
2nd drive (down: yards)
1: 3
2: 3
1: -2
1: 3
2: 2
Fumble
3rd drive (down: yards)
1: 22
TD
4th drive (down: yards)
(no runs by RBs, Fyfe -8 on 1 and +3 of 3rd)
Punt
5th drive (down: yards)
1: 5
interception
6th drive (down: yards)
1: -1
Fyfe 7 yd run and short pass falls short of 1st down so punt
7th drive (down: yards)
no runs : 1:19 on clock with score 21-9, so understandable
Interception
Halftime it's 21-9, but 2 TDs by Purdue came on 2 drives of 20 yards each, and we forced them to punt 4 times. so i wouldn't really say we are in a hole.
8th drive (down: yards)
2: 2
2: 9 yd TD run
28-16 at this point with 7:42 in 3rd Q.
9th drive (down: yards)
1: 6
punt
Purdue scores another TD to make it 35-16
10th drive (down: yards)
1st play interception
Purdue scores again for 42-16
so from this point on i understand the throwing
seriously wtf are we abandoning the run in that game?
