Great game by Bumgarner Rutledge really worked his count up and the first inning (27 pitches) hurt him but he did a great job holding the Rockies to 1 run.

Bumgarner gets a much deserved W, and despite 7 days off Romo comes in and has a little rust, but gets the W. Let's head to Cincinnati and get the winning streak rolling.

Yeah, I didn't realize he was a scrap-heap pickup, and that he was already 28.

Had dust off the milk gif. Haven't used it in a while.

We still have questions, but this streak happened because EVERYTHING went wrong. They would have bloop hits, we would have rocket outs. They would be called safe on a close play, we would be called out. Their pitches were strikes, ours were balls.

Now that the monkey is off their backs, and it looks like we have 2 Aces again, I think we are in a good position.

Heading into the deadline, we might have to assume all teams consider themselves contenders which means more competition for trade pieces and will make those August/September nl west games even that more interesting (those games vs the NY teams are wtf?)
