Saw both of these teams battle it out before they moved west. The Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Giants. Went to games in the Polo Grounds and Ebbets Field. Never ventured to Yankee Stadium. Still can't stand them!
I saw one of the greatest individual performances I've ever seen at Yankee Stadium. Summer of 1991 I believe, the Royals were in town and Bo Jackson hit 3 home runs and the next inning in the field he went full horizontal laying out for a fly ball and hurt his side...trainer comes out, Bo doesn't want to come out, you can see him arguing, then he reluctantly leaves to a standing O from Yankees fans.

Gives up a double and leaves him stranded there. I am curious, how deep was Kelly's fly out to center field?
HR in many parks, 400 feet+

Shit we can win at a 11-8 pace and win the World Series...so basically not as much as we win now, Of course the competition will be harder than the Dbacks and Rockies.

It was smoked, but I thought in real time that DigDug was going to catch it. Looks like he held up at the last second. Maybe he didn't, but it looked that way at the stadium.

TB has been eliminated from the BRIB....so it's either us or doyers with home field throughout.

I am of the (ignorant) opinion that anytime the ball hits the BOTTOM of the wall, and the OFer is there, it should be caught.

This was one of those situations where I thought it should have been caught.

As good as the doggies and us are playing ... the Cards have won their last 17 ....

And since TB can no longer get the BRIB ... that means that the team with the 2nd BRIB .... will be a WC ..... facing the Cards .... in a 1 game elimination ..... I really don't care .... as long as IT IS NOT US!!!!!!!!

Are we still talking about Kelly's fly out (out number 2 of the inning) or Perdomo's double?
