5 to play…4 with 4 to play.
I saw one of the greatest individual performances I've ever seen at Yankee Stadium. Summer of 1991 I believe, the Royals were in town and Bo Jackson hit 3 home runs and the next inning in the field he went full horizontal laying out for a fly ball and hurt his side...trainer comes out, Bo doesn't want to come out, you can see him arguing, then he reluctantly leaves to a standing O from Yankees fans.Saw both of these teams battle it out before they moved west. The Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Giants. Went to games in the Polo Grounds and Ebbets Field. Never ventured to Yankee Stadium. Still can't stand them!
Gives up a double and leaves him stranded there. I am curious, how deep was Kelly's fly out to center field? And BIG WIN, and BIG BALLS from Doval. Just carries himself like he can handle it.

Thanks. I had a feeling it was pretty deep.Hit the bottom of the wall.
I was told there would be no math!5 to play…
It was smoked, but I thought in real time that DigDug was going to catch it. Looks like he held up at the last second. Maybe he didn't, but it looked that way at the stadium.Gives up a double and leaves him stranded there. I am curious, how deep was Kelly's fly out to center field?
I am of the (ignorant) opinion that anytime the ball hits the BOTTOM of the wall, and the OFer is there, it should be caught. It was smoked, but I thought in real time that DigDug was going to catch it. Looks like he held up at the last second. Maybe he didn't, but it looked that way at the stadium.
I am taking my fee out of this month’s dues…I was told there would be no math!
Thx for the correction.

Are we still talking about Kelly's fly out (out number 2 of the inning) or Perdomo's double?I am of the (ignorant) opinion that anytime the ball hits the BOTTOM of the wall, and the OFer is there, it should be caught.
This was one of those situations where I thought it should have been caught.
