Bob Melvin said that Jerar Encarnacion will be at 1B in his first rehab game tonight.That might be where Encarnacion gets the bulk of his at-bats when he returns - the Giants like keeping Wilmer Flores healthy in the DH spot.

If only Flores could start hitting again.

I find it interesting that the Giants are basically giving Villar little chance to claim 1st base. He's gotten all of 8 PAs in May and 16 PAs total since being recalled on April 20th.
