Who would have expected the Braves to be the Brewers downfall? There's still time but the Brewers are the ones limping and the Braves look good.
No such thing as chalk in the MLB playoffs

I wouldn't mind an ATL/SF NLCS.

Not at all.

We should have Conrad throw out the first pitch in SF.
Interestingly, when I was at the abomination that was Game 2, they had Ishi do this. I was thinking for the NLCS it should be Literally Conor Gillaspie.

Other good candidates for a first pitch: Timmah, Cainer, Ross, Scutero.

BWeez only if he wears purple suede loafers.

Probably hoping for 5 innings from him. Same as Wood. We need to hit him early and make them start making pitching changes as soon as possible. Want to put them into a defensive position as soon as possible.
I respect the decision by Roberts...

BUT
1. Saggy is coming off 3 days rest. Historically not a good thing for most SPs
2. Saggy isn't usually sharp early. If he's off, his night could be very short
3. There will be a quick hook for both SPs

yep agree on all counts .... Not expecting Disco to give us a 'Wood' performace ... he's been hit very hard by the doggies this year ....

First time he’s gone on short rest. Having thrown 99 pitches on Friday there might be some fatigue in that arm that could make it hard to get a feel for his pitches. They just need to get to him early and a lot.

Since we used our top relievers yesterday. .... I'm guessing we go with Leone, Alvarez, Castro and Garcia. I also think that Castro will close if we get the opportunity.

Alvarez hasn't thrown in the series yet. I assume he gets first call but that may depend on matchups.
