Excellent call!Team that scores first is going to win. Hope Wood holds up.

No such thing as chalk in the MLB playoffsWho would have expected the Braves to be the Brewers downfall? There's still time but the Brewers are the ones limping and the Braves look good.
I wouldn't mind an ATL/SF NLCS.Who would have expected the Braves to be the Brewers downfall? There's still time but the Brewers are the ones limping and the Braves look good.
Yeah, agree. I’ve been stewing on that one for a long time. It'd be a classic and a chance for us to make up for the 1912 WS.
So, according to this graph, the Dodgers would have scored negative 0.5 runs if the umpire was more accurate (and the Giants would have scored 1.29 runs)? Cool!
We should have Conrad throw out the first pitch in SF.I wouldn't mind an ATL/SF NLCS.
Not at all.
I knew he wasn’t having a great game, but it didn’t seem THAT bad. He was calling that outside pitch to righties all night.
At least he was consistent on his accuracy both inside and outside the strike zone.I knew he wasn’t having a great game, but it didn’t seem THAT bad. He was calling that outside pitch to righties all night.
Interestingly, when I was at the abomination that was Game 2, they had Ishi do this. I was thinking for the NLCS it should be Literally Conor Gillaspie. We should have Conrad throw out the first pitch in SF.
Probably hoping for 5 innings from him. Same as Wood. We need to hit him early and make them start making pitching changes as soon as possible. Want to put them into a defensive position as soon as possible.
I respect the decision by Roberts...Probably hoping for 5 innings from him. Same as Wood. We need to hit him early and make them start making pitching changes as soon as possible. Want to put them into a defensive position as soon as possible.
yep agree on all counts .... Not expecting Disco to give us a 'Wood' performace ... he's been hit very hard by the doggies this year ....I respect the decision by Roberts...
BUT
1. Saggy is coming off 3 days rest. Historically not a good thing for most SPs
2. Saggy isn't usually sharp early. If he's off, his night could be very short
3. There will be a quick hook for both SPs
I respect the decision by Roberts...

This could be a wild game, boys.yep agree on all counts .... Not expecting Disco to give us a 'Wood' performace ... he's been hit very hard by the doggies this year ....
Alvarez hasn't thrown in the series yet. I assume he gets first call but that may depend on matchups.Since we used our top relievers yesterday. .... I'm guessing we go with Leone, Alvarez, Castro and Garcia. I also think that Castro will close if we get the opportunity.
