Pretty confident that Bum is gone within the next 40 days, aren't you?

Interesting to see Austin in right field. How does he look defensively there?

It will be interesting if Bum is trade to the Dodgers.

Historically, that seems highly unlikely. However, FZ came from the Dodgers' org and new executives tend to do a lot of business with the org that they just left. He probably knows what the Dodgers' farm can produce better than any other MLB farm system and, I assume, still has a good relationship with those still in the Dodgers' FO. It certainly is possible, I just hope he doesn't play light on negotiations with those he knows well.

I was just think about how much he must want to stay with SF.
He is still a FA after this season. If he really loved it here, he would ROCK this year enough to warrant getting traded for 3 top 100 prospects, then sign with the Giants in the off season for league minimum.

If he isn’t willing to do that, fuck him.

He is doing himself no favors for free agency either. I doubt FZ would extend him or re-sign him. He's the type of free agent that would be waiting until March to get a half way decent deal. Unless someone is willing to pay for him in a trade and sign him to an extension, his upcoming offseason could be brutal.

I get the feeling that Holland bought himself another month on the team with tonight's game.

And the offense is missing. Again. And again. And again. Three whole hits. Oh boy!

Yeah, the Giants are really playing better in June. 25 runs allowed in the last three games. :tsk:
Yastrzemski says you're welcome. Just doubled the offensive production on the night with one swing of his bat. Every time I think he's cooled off, he strings together some good at-bats.

Quick Trade Yaz for a Light hitting Middle Infielder or Light hitting Catcher with middling defense:pound:

Why? He has made 20 appearances this season, and has given up runs in 17 of those appearances! He was a good story last year. This year has been a nightmare.
It has but he has been around this long. A good outing will just be used as an excuse to continue that poor decision.
