I knew this team would be old and bad this year, but this is just painful to watch.

When the team plays better (like they did before the 2nd game of this series), I have to remind myself that a mediocre season gets Bochy in the top 10 for all time wins. I think a disastrous season will be missing the playoffs, not getting Bochy in the top 10, not being able to trade off the veteran pieces worth trading and missing out on the top 5 draft picks for 2020.
