thats the thing--- you are exactly right--- if the Pacers are just gonna keep single covering LeBron and sticking to all the shooters- LeBron is going to have to keep making them pay until the perimeter defense loosens up.And he's more than capable of doing it again. This isn't JJ Redick or Jrue Holiday exploding for 40 points.
This wasn't an anomoly because LeBron scored efficiently at will. He does that every game. It was an anomaly because he took more shots and created for others less, which is what this particular game required.
This was just the 4th time in the last 15 games that LeBron took that many shots. The other times? 40 points, 41 points, and 44 points. So lets not act like LeBron won't do this again, if the Pacers keep extending the invitation.
