Add this guy to the list Lindblom will shock next year. I'm putting the awaz guarantee on Lindblom in the opening night top 9 (assuming he's healthy)

I like that he projects Myers and Sanheim in the lineup though. I think Hagg or Morin will replace Manning too.

No doubt about this. I strongly feel that Giroux will bounce back and have a season more like he did in 2011 or 2014. This dude is only 29. He is arguably in his prime right now or just entering it. Clearly his hip and abdominal surgeries had a lingering effect on him. Give the man some constant linemates and let him go to work.

All of these other guys are either younger veterans who have a lot of experience or young prospects with a lot of potential. Filppula can hold down the number two center spot while Hischier plays a season in the Ahl, getting bigger, stronger and adjusting to the pro game. That works out beautifully.

You wonder where Provorov takes his game in year two and Ghost in year three. Provy could be a 25+ minute guy for us already. Plus, it's obviously going to be very exciting to see who of Morin/Hagg/Sanheim/Myers makes the Flyers on defense to join them. Stop giving MacDonald 20+ a game for God's sake.

If Vegas can't be bribed to take him, then do everything possible to trade him away and if that isn't successful, bury him in the minors. I am done with it. It's time to make the playoffs again, which means dressing and relying on our best players. At this stage, our defensive prospects are either already better or soon will be.

Our defense next season should be Provorov, Ghost, Gudas, Manning, Morin, Hagg and one of Myers/Sanheim.

Sounds like Hextall is thinking stop gap goalie, 2 years or so, max 3 i would think.
