These three division games coming up are going to tell us a lot about this team. It's a chance to gain six points on and probably even pass multiple teams ahead of us within the division. Finally not a fucking team from out west either.

In order for us to get any points we need to start playing a 60 minute game.

I gotta assume if we fall out of the race they have to bring kids in to get used to the system so maybe we see them in the second half. Im hoping we are in a playoff position by then where we wont see them until next year.

IDK what to freakin wish for. if they suck and we play the kids then the plan moves faster, if we make the playoffs, then get bounced in the 1st round then we wasted opportunity to advance the plan, damned if we do, damned if we don't lol.

Im very happy with the play of Manning. Sanheim moves his feet very well when he jumps in on plays but his hands on both offense and defense are sloth like.

I don't think we see Morin quite yet. AMac is nearing a return and I think they would prefer Alt sit and let Morin get ice time in LV.

Morin is back playing again. He's played two games since his return from injury I believe, maybe 3.

I agree with Eville though. I think they expect AMac to be ready in the next few games. Just give Alt a couple more since he hasn't really been a liability.

Does anyone know our record with and without AMac?

Just this season it's 5-3-0 with and 3-5-4 without.

I'm not sure if that means anything though. Our power play is 5 for 36 since he went out and that obviously has nothing to do with him. That's less than 14% efficiency, which is terrible for this unit. Our main issue as of late was goal scoring, not so much defense.

I think we're just guilty of sitting on leads and playing not to lose. The resiliency isn't there right now either. We've lost four straight games that have gone to OT when I think we have some really nice trios to send out for the 3 on 3.

Wayne Simmonds suddenly isn't scoring at all when he's a perennial 30+ goal man for us. Now it's looking like he won't even get there after a hot start. Basically, our secondary scoring has dried up and it's mostly just the top line now.
