Definitely questionable but perhaps he's easing them in. Possibly see them tomorrow night. So far looking ok for a road game. Too many penalties though.Twitter saying Sanheim and Morin were the scratches for the pregame skate.
I'm ready to fire Hakstol now. Brandon Manning has absolutely no business being in the lineup over them. Get this guy outta here.
Everyone looking fast. Gee playing below the circle at each end is a great sign and Ghost shooting from the point with more accuracy is another good sign. We are so much faster than last year.Ghost with a great shot PP goal! Couts G and Jake looking good. Also Weal looking fast. Still too many penalties but PK pretty solid. Elliot looking confident maybe gives the young D some confidence. Third period should be interesting..
Yeah buddy!!!Great start to the season.
I had advocated switching Weise and Raffl, but I like the look of the 4th line. Lindblom (hopefully) or Read (probable) for Weise is probably going to be sooner than later. Manning is Manning. Nothing more or nothing less. Hopefully he is replaced tonight and maybe Lehtera for Weise.Weiss and Manning still aren't good.
Even last season it took more than half the season for Haks to sit Weiss. I cant for the life of me think of why he loves his game more that the other players who could take his spot.I had advocated switching Weise and Raffl, but I like the look of the 4th line. My observation is that it looks like he knows what to do. The problem is that he isn't very good at it.Even last season it took more than half the season for Haks to sit Weiss. I cant for the life of me think of why he loves his game more that the other players who could take his spot.
I agree with the Manning and Gudas combo well have to wait and see what Haks does. We know what both bring to the game and i would think Manning gets replaced before Gudas but will probably have to comeback for a Gudas suspension. He crushed another player last night face to the boards i hope SJ doesn't send the tape to the league.4th line was great
PP was great
Konecny was great
1st line looked dangerous
Elliot is a lot more active than Mason and Neuvirth are. Felt like he was all over the place last night, but he stopped 32/35 including a few good ones, so we'll take it.
They can't continue with the Manning/Gudas pair though, that was dreadful. I don't know if he was trying too much or what, but Gudas looked pretty bad last night to me. Every time that pair was on the ice the Sharks had multiple chances.
