WOW. That "Hell of a game, hell of a game" with the extended hand looked pretty legit actually. The face shove was crap and poor sportsmanship by Crabtree. He is a sorry receiver.

And where are all those assholes who said we don't know what was said between them and basically called Sherman a liar when he said he tried to tell him good game? Are they now going to agree that Crabtree was being a poorsport and that was right before the erin andrews interview so it helped fuel his hate?

You won't hear anything about it because all the public wants is the big scandal. They don't want, nor care about the truth. Now that they have their hate of Sherman, no amount of facts is going to change it for them. They will hate just because they can and that's how they like it.

Of course you see SB40 and the result as Seattle whining over it. You weren't the victims of the officials total and complete ineptness. In the national polls after the game EVERY single state outside of Pennsylvania agreed the refs cost the Seahawks that game. It was so fucking clear only a homer or retard wouldn't have agreed. We can guess which you guys are. Cry over it? What's funny is that it is ALWAYS other fans that bring it up. I never hear anyone locally talk about that. EVER. It happened and was over long ago. Only reason for any of us to talk about it is the endless drudging up from your fans.

I think a lot of Seattle fans really want Kaepernick to fail so they rationalize it any way they can. Bottom line is in 1.5 seasons he has taken his (admittedly very good 49er) team to the NFC Championship and Super Bowl.

I though Kaep played really really well for 3 quarters Sunday, and had one bad quarter. What people seem to forget is just how bad most quarterbacks have looked in Seattle the last 2 seasons. Rodgers, Brady, Palmer, Kaep (in his other starts), Brees (twice), have all looked bad. Kaep's game Sunday was well above average for a road team in that stadium considering there was no run game. It was not perfect- read his fourth quarter, but its hard to pin the entire game on him.

Maybe I'm a homer, but if I was picking a team from scratch, Id probably take Kaep over Wilson at this moment. It is close, however.

Ill admit Crabtree was being a poor sport, but so was Sherman in that interview and after many other games. Also, its much easier to be a good sport after a WIN than a LOSS- not making excuses for Crabs however.

He's definitely gonna have to develop as a pocket passer because right now it seems his arm is his second weapon when it needs to be his first. Steve Young was a scrambler and good with his legs, but his arm was his main weapon. They can remain a contender with his skill level in terms of a playoff team, but his arm will get them or not get them to the promised land.

But I agree with Ties, SB and NFC title are not bad for the time he's been a starter.

"Colon Keepandrun"

:pound:

Colon Keepandrun is the new Vince Young. You heard it here first: He and Jim Harbaugh are going to have a very nasty, very public falling-out, forcing management to make a decision on who goes and who stays.

Mark my words.

I've had the same thought brewing! He will at least keep them in contention with all the talent around him.

Yea, but with the hype of last year and having been deep in the playoffs for two years, and considering the franchise he plays for, at some point he will have to lead them to their sixth title, and if he doesnt, we know what he'll be labeled as...............

Yup. I've watched him throughout his collegiate career as well, and I've never been impressed with his passing skills. Below average accuracy but at least he has arm strength. It will be interesting to see how his career develops/unfolds.

Sherman trash talks and gets in the heads of players all the time and normally goes to shake their hands after the game no matter what happens. I know hes odd and hard to figure out, but he isn't like T.O. or Pac man etc in terms of those assholes are always assholes and were difficult to deal with in the locker room. Sherman is hell on the field and dancing and a total team player in the locker room. Think of guys like Michael Jordan or Ali or others that used their personality to their professional advantage, but used it selectively.

I have said several times I wish he wouldn't have gone that far, but they did have history and he did just finish a game in which his final big play was the biggest play in his career, a total defining moment in an already outstanding career and it was against a guy he had a beef with that also just pushed his head back when he offered his handshake after the game. I get why he was pissed. Would have been better for us had he not done that, but that doesn't represent who he is.

It was unusual...almost WWF like, but obviously there was something personal there and he took the opportunity to vent...imo not as big a deal as the media made it out to be...if it happen on week 2 we would have forgotten about it by the following week.

You're cherry picking statistics. The last 5 games is a small sample size, compare it to all the games these two have started. Unfortunately Wilson has started in more games than Kaepernick has which makes it more difficult to compare the two but even if you just compare their statistics from this season, Wilson leads in almost every category.

Not sure it matters, but I really think Wilson and Kaep are two different players. I think Wilson can throw, but in games I've watched, he seems to be running for his life. His receivers get it, they may have to run around a bit to get open, assuming he's scrambling, as we saw Doug Baldwin do. He seems to make good decisions and seems to go thru his reads. In essence, I think Wilson is a throwing QB who can run, and well at that.

Kaep on the other hand, came from a school where he did throw, not sure how many reads and progressions he was forced to go through. That offense is something completely different than anything Wilson did in college.

I think they're both really good QB's, they simply have different strengths. I'd take either guy to start my team.

We can compare both guys until the cows come home, MOST fans from their respective teams would take their guy over the other.

Am I missing the way too obvious answer of RW is actually there and Kaepernick will be at home? :noidea:
