Same here. Really cheering for this guy. Just an all around good person. Always want those guys to do well, but when you throw in the two knee injuries and the fact he's on the niners, and it really makes me cheer for him.

Good to hear Okoye had a good special teams play. He could be a monster on kickoff coverage. And if he shows some special-teams chops he'd have a better chance of making the team.

I'd love to hear Okoye after a nasty hit on NFL sounds.

He's fighting for a roster spot, but if he can play well as a receiver, he's got a shot at making the roster. Doubt he has any trade value, but might be worth considering if a team has some injuries and he has a solid preseason. Problem is he doesn't have trade value, and with Johnson on the roster I just can't see him sticking. That said, he profiles as more of a deep threat than our three primary receivers, so that might help him.

Not a bad deal for him. He will have made over 300K over the course of two years for what, taking part in one football practice? Pretty sweet.

Plus he can always tell chicks he was an "NFL player" for some of that "lay prestige."

I thought players on IR didn't count against the salary cap.
