It's only 4 games but that's what Russell is on pace for right now. He has had to shoulder the load on the offense and he has taken it on and thrived. Career high in completion percentage thus far (71.7 %) as well.

With no run game and an atrocious offensive line. And without any real chemistry with Jimmy Graham yet either.

Mr Game Manager is on pace for nearly 5000 yards of offense. Wait til Russell and Jimmy start clicking. Offense has not been pretty thus far, but thank god we have Russell to weather the storm until we can patch up this offensive line.

Regardless of passing yards, rushing yards, and QB rating, I'm happy paying 20M for a top 10, consistent, and dangerous at times QB who doesn't turn the ball over.

Let's not forget just how little time has passed since we were looking at Seneca Wallace, Charlie Whitehurst, and Matt Flynn as potential franchise QBs for this team. When you get a real franchise QB you keep him. Don't get spoiled in the moment.

Yep ... Russ is so fun too watch, were lucky to have him... He's the first elite QB I think we've ever had in our teams history... We've had a couple good ones, but Russ is just mentally at another level ... A lot of QB's in this league wouldn't survive behind this O-line let alone thrive..

Lets not forget that guys like Cutler, Tannehill, Kapernick, Dalton (i know hes been good), and many others are getting paid large dollars....Wilson is worth every penny in todays game

When you look around the league and see below average QB play every week, us fans should be thankful with the way how the chips fell that we have a franchise QB that most teams would kill to have. RW is a gamer and worth every penny of that contract.
