What I always laugh at is when I see someone using the injury excuse for teams they root for but say the injury excuse is invalid for teams they don't like.

I mean I get very disgusted with refs in games especially when the Cavs are not getting the calls but blaming them for the loss is a disgrace. Especially since Harden averaged more FTs/game than anyone in the league. He flops a lot and has that patented "get the defender in air, lean forward and shoot the 3" move, he gets that call A LOT

Yeah, for me, it depends on the number and the extent of the injuries. Some games lost due to injury is expected and something a team should be able to overcome.

But when a team loses it's best player for an extended period or has multiple injuries with guys out for an extended period of time...that's a lot harder to overcome.

Yeah, I think both titles are legit. As for those arguing the legitimacy of either title...usually you can just consider the source. lol

Even then, you can usually point to several other factors that had a lot more to do with the outcome than 1 questionable call by a ref.

Now that last comment I agree. I don't mind bringing up injuries when they are significant but don't say "just an excuse" when it happens to your team.

That said, it has to be significant. Please don't mention dime a dozen players.
