Neither should be ranked.

Miss State scored a fucking total of 16 points in their 4 losses. They are clearly a not good team who is maybe a little bit better than the other not good teams theyve played.

Kentucky has 2 wins in the last month and a half. A 1 point win vs Missouri and 7 point win vs Vanderbilt.....coupled with 2 blowout losses (one to a 5-5 Tennessee team). But hey "They beat Florida (also overranked) so they must be good!)

I agree not sure how anyone can take the AP,Coaches poll or Committee rankings seriously. The ranking systems are all rooted in bias. The system is riddled with flaws by design.

Some people here will blissfully pretend like there are no clear biases at all though.

I think the NC State and Kentucky comparison is a pretty glaring example.

They both took their 3rd loss.

NC State loses by 4 to a 5-5 Wake Forest team and crashes all the way from 14 out of the top 25.

Kentucky loses by 17 to a also 5-5 Tennessee team and manages to not even fall out of the top 20, only dropping 6 spots.......

Thats possibly the biggest problem with the CFB system. It relies far too heavily on human influence. When relying on the AP,Coches, and a committee. You're adding bias to the equasion. You could say use the computer system. But thats a comparison based on an uneven platform. Too many variables in scheduling. And the fomula is easily skewed by the numbers that are utilized in the formulas. In the end the formulas are written by....humans. This is why I'm for a set scheduling standard. Along with an expanded play off. That works on a 6 game auto bid system. With a fail safe that a CC cant have more than 2 losses or it becomes another WC. Reduce the human influence and increase the the impact of on the games on the field. Could even go 8 if we want to include G5's. As far as people arguing for the flaws in the polls and system. Theres no logic to it especially when the flaws and bias in the rankings are glaring. As watching the propaganda hype they spew on ESPN

Rankings are all to make certain teams and conferences look pretty nothing more
