Honestly, I think that might slow things down even more. He has already been in the clock for 16 hours, 8 more to go. If he slides back a few spots, then he will get a whole new 24 hour clock after a few picks.

There will be a few occasions like this. We just have to be patient and ride it out.

Yeah but for future rounds we will eventually need to cut down the time and have people give lists. It will definitely speed things up

Couple thoughts so far:

1) Klay went way too high. I thought he might go in the low teens, but 7 is definitely a stretch.
2) Pissed that KAT went that high. I was hoping to snag him up around my selection.
3) This is going to be much harder than I anticipated. Just trying to figure out who to take at #20 is going to be hard. I can't imagine what that's gonna be like around the 7th round.

Just a few things about this draft from other drafts I've done:

- Lists should be left if people are going to be offline.
-The clock should be 12 hrs. and not 24
-No undrafted players should be named anywhere

Just a few suggestions, I think this should be fun and will run smoothly.

Really the only guy I thought about was Jimmy Butler. But I went for the guy who's a better shooter. Didn't like Cousins in that spot. Or George.

It's not like it was a travesty of a pick or anything.

I do think George and Butler are solidly better overall players though. So as a top option I woulda went one of them if SG was your plan.

But Klay is deadly.

If Klay Thompson was playing for the Magic right now- do you think people would think hes top 25? Im kinda doubting it...

He's the second best shooter in the NBA imo and a great defender. That alone puts him damn near the top 15. Playing in GS's system helps no doubt, but he's definitely a first round pick.

Like I said hopefully it never comes down to that and we stay organized, but life happens sometimes and people shouldn't be penalized if they aren't ready to go ONE time out of their 10 picks. If it's an ongoing issue with the same person then that's a different story.

I think that is right where he should go. He is the anti-LeBron. You can build a playoff team around him, but good luck building a contender.

Of course, that can probably be said for anybody outside the top few picks. Personally, I think there is a huge drop off in value after 6.
