I thought I had a good shot. Made me like getting a mid level first round pick.

I took him with my first pick (technically second round because we all had one keeper) in my fantasy basketball league in the beginning of the year and everyone freaked out and said it was a reach… now if anything it was a steal.

I was gonna pick Cousins 12th and say I'm taking hornsstampede's favorite player, but because he's such a big fan he picked DeMarcus before I had the chance. Damn!

Went with Klay because I like him more than Butler. Thought about KAT. Don't like Cousins there either. Didn't think anybody else was really an option.

I just wanted to see Cousins get Popovich fired. That is a challenge and he needed to be on my Spurs roster.
I believe Demarcus will accept that challenge and make it happen.

If the Spurs get a new GM who doesn't like Pop and Cousins has to miss time, it'll probably happen. That's why Malone got the boot. You could also go for Dwight, but you don't really need two centers.

Exactly why I went with Paul George. SF is such a weak position depth wise compared to PG.

You can find a starting caliber PG later on in the draft. Skilled centers and SF's are extremely valuable. SG as well to an extent.
