Paul Holmgren runs an NHL franchise like he is playing NHL 98, the problems are higher on the food chain than Lavy, although Lavy didn't do himself any favors.
Yeah, I don't put the entire blame on Peter Laviolette, the way the team was put together was fundamentally flawed and I think it would've been a difficult task to coach that team. They should be scoring more than 1 goal per game regardless tho, they have 9 very good forwards to go along with 2 very good offensive defensemen, for them to only score 1 goal per game on top of going 0-3 is probably what did them in. I don't see how Craig Berube will do a better job.
