Does he care ?Question is does Holtby still think he is a starter?

Maybe, some don't take kindly to being washed up lol. Guess if it's just money to him then you'd have to question his effort.Does he care ?
Really a great point. Though was Yandle bought out maybe? So became a free agent early?
I guess I'm not totally opposed to the signing, especially at 900k. Veteran, good puck mover, could be a good PP2 guy. Blocks York/Zamula from being given the job, they'll have to earn it (or injuries).
Everyone said they'd sign another 6/7 veteran d-man, but Yandle is a bit better of a player than I expected tbh. Thought it would be easier for York in particular, to beat them out for a job. Yandle won't be a cake walk.
They look pretty darn strong on defense honestly..
Provorov-Ellis
Sanheim-Ristolainen
Yandle-Braun
With York, Zamula, and Morin as extras.
Wow love this! Maybe Braun gets the boot although he's pretty cheap. I guess York can be brought in slowly which is the better way to go. All of a sudden the D doesn't look too bad...Really a great point. Though was Yandle bought out maybe? So became a free agent early?

Also the flexibility Yandle brings should help match ups better. Braun should be able to handle 3rd and 4th line guys, would like to see York brought up to replace him though, pair him with Yandle to keep him steady. Yandle is by no means a serious game changer but he's def solid and could help with building the younger core.Wow

Man would I love to pick up Brandon Saad. Dude is always in scoring position.Id like to try and add some scoring depth now.

5 free-agent targets for the Flyers
With NHL free agency set to open Wednesday at noon ET, let’s look at five potential signings for the Flyers. By Jordan Hallwww.nbcsports.com
I think we get Holtby which I'm good with. Here we go, goalie day. Unless Fletcher wants to continue grabbing headlines!
Insiders on twitter saying:
Bernier - NJ
Halak - Vancouver
Reimer - SJ/Vegas
I agree That is way to much to pay for Coleman .I think I saw on twitter last night that Coleman was looking at 6M x 5 years. If so, that's outrageous. I love his game, love his Cup rings, but 6x5 is nuts for a 30 point guy.
No shock there.Gabriel Landeskog signs eight-year deal to remain with Avalanche
The Colorado Avalanche captain isn't going anywhere.www.yahoo.com
Its crazy how we are paying that one dimensional scrub JVR the same amounts of money as he is making. No shock there.
