Our depth at LD is
Provy
Sanheim
York
Ghost
Hagg.

At 34, I like what we have better.
I agree but when we start trading for the Jones of the world that depth will be taking a hit.

If we did need a LHD i would go for Suter before i went for Yandle any day.

Suter makes a solid 2a and has plenty of leadership and can probably get a lowball contract.

Doubt this happens as I believe he wants to stay in Colorado. If he doesn't resign I dont see him heading here unfortunately, other problem the Avs have is they need to resign Grubauer too so it will be interesting.

Yep. I’d obviously love to have him. Any team would be silly not to want him. But I really don’t think it’s worth getting our hopes up. All this stuff in the media is just a marketing tactic to get the deal done.

I also read an article that he has 6 preferred places to play and Philly isn't one of them.

Jones is off the table because he won't extend. A lot can happen in the next few days. Will be interesting to see what Dmen are left unprotected for Seattle to take. Hopefully the D crop is more exciting so they take JVR.

Expansion lists due at 5pm today. The way Twitter is acting, I expect Seattle is going to build a hell of a team.

Flyers get Ellis for Myers and Patrick !!

WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Oh shiiiiiiit. Love the Ellis add. Cost controlled, legit, proven. Will worry about Patrick and Myers turning into something good/great but they were fringe NHL-caliber last year no question about it.

LETS GO!!!

After trading Patrick there were a couple tweets that expected JvR to get the extra protection slot. I expect we’ll find out soon, though the league won’t formally announce them until tomorrow.

Would make the question for Seattle, Voracek, Ghost, Hagg, Braun, or NAK? I assume Voracek or Ghost would be the most likely, but we’ll see.

I think this is a great trade for both teams. We filled a much needed hole that probably will make Provy take the next step into being the stud we know he can be. Ellis is locked in for 6 years with a friendly cap as well. The verdict is still out on Patrick and Myers. To me, it was worth it. And I don't think Fletcher is done either. I think Tarasenko is still a possibility as well.

Now let's trade to get Risto and Rhinehart out of Buffalo. Wonder what that would cost?

defense would look solid.
Provy Ellis
Sanheim Risto
Haag. Braun

Ghost dealt somewhere? Possibly Seattle. Hopefully Ghost is moved before expansion to force Kraken to most likely take Voracek.

There has to be 1000 and 1 better choices then Hagg and Braun rounding out the bottom 6.

I would still like to see them sign Ceci to play right side with Sanheim on 2D.

I gotta say, Fletcher has done exactly what I wanted him to do so far. So I certainly can’t complain.

Now hopefully he doesn’t sweeten the pot and the Kraken don’t over think it and take someone other than JvR, Voracek, or Ghost.

Some major names out there for Seattle. They’re going to be really good next year.

The Preds couldnt get rid of Patrick fast enough.. He already got traded for Cody Glass.
