FWIW, even if they get Kupp, I hope they still find a way to land Mike Williams as well. Let CA3 and (hopefully) Roman battle it out for the inside scraps.

If all they come away with is Mike Williams, then they are going to desperately need Roman Wilson at some point.

I think he had a setback with his injury last week. According to Tomlin that led to him not being able to participate in practice prep for the week.

He needs to prove he can stay healthy before they will take his involvement more serious.

Ugh. I know he was/is a fringe player, but the staff showed trust in Cook so he obviously showed enough talent. And he has looked good in limited showings.

But I also know that lisfranc injuries can be career-enders for big guys. He was back at practice on the DFR window. My guess is he suffered an unfortunate setback.

Well, he does have 12 receptions this year so far….he’ll fit in with the rest outside of Pickens & Muth……

Both deals aren’t great but fill voids. Williams goes from deep depth on the Jets to #2 on the Steelers. Hope he shows flashes of the past.

As for Smith I like the deal he will help with that depth and they really need it.

Then Sutton coming back from suspension instantly helps their DB depth.
