if Geno is cut there is a 13 million dead money hit but the cap savings is 25 million. If he is On the team for 2025 then its 38 million.

So chances are only 2 QB's are taken in the first round and maybe 2 in the 2nd round. That leaves a lot of mid talent QB's for the Hawks in the 3rd or later. This might be the draft to look for a prospect with upside as there should be some options when the Hawks pick.

I see a lot of Mocks that have Ward and Sanders flopping around in the 1st and Milroe and Ewers in the 2nd. Have not seen many with more than 2 QB's going in the 1st. This QB class is not strong but there are a lot of options for a sit and learn Type QB. Lots of possible boom or bust potential.

It’s early so we’ll have see if that changes. Going back a decade only a couple draft class had less then 3 QBs going round one and wasn’t a lot to choose from the ones drafted later In those two drafts.

Ewers is entertaining the idea of entering the transfer portal and heading to Ohio State or Florida…

Carson Beck just announced. He’s going to the NFL last night. I’m not sold on him though.

Well the Hawks will be sitting at home for the playoffs even if they go 10-7. If you want to continue holding onto hope then here this is for you.

Three of these teams need to win:
Falcons (over the Commanders), Lions (over the 49ers on Monday), Packers (over the Vikings), Jets (over the Bills), or Dolphins (over the Browns).
Then the Seahawks have to beat the Rams next week.

If that happens, the Seahawks will also need all of this NEXT week:

Broncos beat the Chiefs.
Dolphins beat the Jets.
Falcons beat the Panthers.
Cardinals beat the 49ers.
Bears beat the Packers.
Patriots beat the Bills.
Lions beat the Vikings.
Buccaneers beat the Saints.
Chargers beat the Raiders.

Yeah like what is it? 1% or less than 1%? So sure there is a chance that a Geno lead team might make the playoffs for the 2nd time in 3 years. 9-8 his first year, 9-8 his second year and heading to a 9-8 3rd year. Geno is the perfect .500 QB lol

I think mister 2,000 S. Barkely has a better chance rushing for 250-300 yards next week than the Hawks making the Playoffs.

We need a true NT

If there is a good "true nose tackle" in the draft they don't get taken in the first round, they go later. Pass rushing DT go in the first, but the Seahawks have that type already.
