Well, it's been 14 years since they last met in the finals and there was what? A 20+ year gap between the last Showtime/Bird Celtics final and the Kobe/Pau Lakers vs. PP/KG Celtics finals and no one stopped.

Sooo...never?

Or maybe when folks my age who can remember when it seemed like it was Lakers/Celtics damn near every year are no longer around?
