What are they sending to Miami?

They have picks and they have Mitchell Robinson and Deuce McBride as the first players they can send. They have Boggy as salary filler. It’s really about the picks. Maybe the Heat could get Hart or DDV out of the deal but Knicks aren’t likely to part with either if they’re going for it. I think Randle would be out. Seems like he couldn’t play with Bam.

No you get the room exception when you use cap space

7.7m
So they play for 3.85 instead of 6. They both want to be in Philadelphia and that’s the piece that matters.

Winning isn’t all that matters for some guys.

He’s a kid.

So, he probably thinks this opportunity will come again.

I have a feeling he may regret this move in a few years.

Great job by Presti to get ahead of this and get his ass gone for a upgrade.

New Bulls guard Josh Giddey is holding his first media availability since the trade. He confirms Sam Presti's comments were accurate "At 21 years old... coming off the bench at this point in my career isn't something I'm overly eager to do"Says Presti understood his position.
Well we know financially it wasn’t going to work anyway. They could have kicked the can another year and missed out on Caruso.

Curious what Cavs' fans or others think of this rumor. saw something similar a while back and at one time liked idea a little, but now thinking if Cavs are willing to move Garland they can get a better player than Johnson in return. Maybe a lot better (at least based on how he played this year). Better draft I might think differently with that 4 pick....

Yeah the 4th pick sounds great on paper but in this draft it’s a role player. This is pretty much a Garland for Johnson swap. I don’t like it for you guys. I think you can do better.

That's how I see it. Might think differently if KJ had a season like his last one (I get scoring down some due to Wemby but went down a lot). also don't follow him too closely and not sure KJ plays the position we really need at SF (he's a undersized for that like Strus and Okoro and maybe Levert, too.

Apparently nobody is biting on the desire George has for a 4-year deal. So...

@The Q this is exactly what I’m talking about. It’s why PG13 is considering opting in instead of sign and trade. Clippers still get assets in either scenario. The opt in is because the salary just isn’t being offered.

That’s why I’m saying the Sixers can close this deal by offering PG13 the 4 year max minus 10-15 million in the first year of the contract. This allows for the Sixers to get a “value” third option, a guy who is under slotted for salary at 18-25 million per year and acquire him without giving back players and only giving back picks. A team gets cap relief and picks.

I don’t think they are trading him unless they are blown away. There is nothing about that trade that is blowing the Cavs away. Two role players and a top pick in an overall bad draft. The Cavs gets worse now

I was told a top 5 in this draft is more valuable than Garland lol

I guess he would rather be a starter on a losing team than a 6th man on a winning team. He is lucky he is still playing basketball. I agree, he will probably regret it down the road
It’s Jeremy Grant 2.0.

Dude got the bag.

Nuggets got the chip.
