Oh, I'm a Petty Patty.

So, even if I'm not actively rooting for them to fail, I wouldn't shed a tear if they did.

They look damn good on paper.

As you said, so did the PAPER Clips.
Fightin' has to be ecstatic.

Hope he returns soon.

"way better shooter"? If we compare apples to apples year 23 seasons Cam went for 9 ppg, 43.5% shooting overall and 39% from 3. Okoro was around the same only he was a 49% shooter.

by age 25 he became a much better shooter at least from 3 and has stayed in the 39-41% range which is really good. Can Okoro do that as he's still only 23 with an incredible work ethic? Not sure...but do think on a bad team for sure you'd see more points.

None of this is to say I would not trade for Cam even if it costs Okoro,....just not the no brainer some might think it is. Not sure how true by supposedly NY Times has Okoro value in the $20-22 mil range is what someone told me.
Okoro is wide open ALL the time. 3 attempts per game and 39% both career highs. Cam’s average for his career is 39% on 6 attempts. Huge difference taking twice as many 3’s. Also playing on a much worse team doesn’t help. I saw Cam on PHX and he was a knockdown shooter. Can’t say the same for Okoro. He improved but yes, he isn’t close to the shooter Cam is at this point in his career.

I wasn’t talking about money. Strictly shooting.

Saw some comments yesterday in different thread that he was put in timeout. What happened?

Not anymore

If they struck out I’d want him to come back

Can we get back to the age 23 apples to apples comparison, though? Plenty of guys left open on 3s and cannot make just under 40%...never mind the kid is still only 23 with an incredible work ethic. He's also a better defender and almost always tasked to guard other teams' best wing or even PG. If we made a deal I'd be fine with it, but just saying not a crazy notion could end up biting us.

Truth be told, while I'd like to see him keep his 3 point % where it is and take more I'd rather see him be more aggressive going to hoop if we keep him.

Only mentioned money as IF it's true the league might think a little more highly of Okoro than you. Then again, not sure who could pay him that much.

People are told stuff via private message and are out here telling everyone now

You were told the details of it in private for a reason. What a loser
