Yep it sounds like he is playing the 4. Going to small ball
This was his take on playing the 4 way back in the day.

Maybe he's changed his stance.

But, Marcus Morris/Kawhi played the 4.

George played the 2 or 3.

Paul George not comfortable at four spot

“I don’t know if I’m cut out for a four spot,” George said after the Pacers’ 110-105 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans, a game in which he started matched up against 6-foot-11 All-Star Anthony Davis. “I would say it bothered me a little bit,” George allows. “I was like, man, I worked so hard to get back, playing the three, and now you’re putting me at a new position. You guys don’t trust me? So it took some time to get that through my head. But now, everything is working out fine, and I’m happy with what we’ve got going right now.” Into the breach stepped veteran C.J. Miles, who agreed to play the four and allow George to stay at the three. With Miles, who’s played the two and three most of his career, the Pacers still get the mismatches at the four they wanted for George, but allow George the peace of mind of staying at his old spot.

I think PG will be slotted into the 3. I forgot they had Oubre who is a pretty good rebounder and he is 6’8”. He is technically a guard but either way they are going to small ball. I think they have the luxury they have the best big man in the world

Cannot remember, but I thought it was an article, maybe it was Marks on ESPN's NBA show.

I will see if I can find it later, didn't just make it up. LOL.

And Oubre isn't the best shooter either. He would make sense.

Not sure who is left on the FA market that could play PF.

Oh, I don't think you made it up.

I think the person who wrote/said it is mistaken.

If the Spurs are helping the Kings facilitate the Derozan sign and trade, I wonder who will take Barnes?

Clippers need to kick those tires.

The Spurs. Another veteran to teach the young guys. It looks like the Spurs want to make a play-in push

I like DD but is he a huge upgrade for them? Might be a slight upgrade but his numbers dipped last season because he was under 30mpg.

IMO, Barnes is an underrated player. And I think he is younger.

Yep.

And somebody recently said until injuries hit and then they can trade off players at the deadline to tank for a good pick in '25 draft.

DD isn’t enough to make them a legit contender imo but they can make some noise

Is DD a upgrade over Kevin Huerter?

Uh, yes....

Dunno if Huerter just had a bad start before injuries hit or if Monk had him shook about losing his spot.

But he was awful.

Kings have Murray waiting in the wings to replace Harry B.

With DD it’s a dangerous squad but I am not putting them in that top tier. I think it is worth the move if you are giving up Barnes and Huerter for sure

The Kings were 16th in 3%....trade Huerter and Barnes....

Love DD as a player but yikes. Their 3% going to take a hit.
