Boy I didnt realize that they lost Derrick Jones Jr already. That's a big loss. He was really good during the playoffs I thought.

Hell he is might be a bigger loss defensively than Klay is a gain offensively.

Dallas/OKC, Minny, Denver.

The drop off from there is steep, unless you think Memphis gonna be a juggernaut.

Yeah, those are the obvious ones.

Leaving room for someone like the Lakers or the Grizzlies or maybe even the Warriors being better than expected.

Replacing DJJ with Klay and Marshall would be a hell of an upgrade for Dallas

Klay now has to guard the opposing teams best wing. That isnt good. A guy like DJJ was needed on that team.

Even if Lebron takes the max, the ultimate outcome for the Lakers is that they get the TPMLE instead of the full MLE. Not as big of an issue as it's being made out to be, especially with the options left for the MLE.

Getting 11 mill per instead of 13 mill per. The Lakers offered 1 more year and glad he turned it down. Might be fine th first 2 years but 3 and 4 could be really bad.

Like PG in years 3 and 4. Most players at 37 and 38 aren't playing their best.

He isn't broken right now. But, he is past his prime but still a good player. But, after 2 relatively healthy seasons how long before he is hurt again is the question?

Thinking we might be better off with a younger player.

Couple local things to come out on the Hartenstein deal. First, as suspected the deal has been front loaded to the point that it won’t affect the cap situation much in year 3. Secondly, it is believed that Hartenstein can shoot the 3 very well and he will be doing that more than the Knicks had him shooting it.

That's one of the area's I like his upside over Claxton.
