They got Klay for $16.5M.
Lakers were going to give him $20M.
Warriors I believe at least in the mid 20's.

They fixed a need.
People ragging on this move but then OKC fills a need and pays a role player 30M and it's a great move LOL

Again go back to CA taxes vs TX taxes. The Laker's $20M is only $17.36M in TX. So its not like these were really different offers.

I'm just ragging on it because of fit. Dallas has created one hell of a hole on their defense with this switch up. I was more surprised than anything because I had never seen that DJJ signed with the Clippers. But of course I also have never seen (or at least realized I have seen) Grimes play and I am seeing people saying that he is the one that is going to be their primary perimeter defender this year now too. And Kidd did a masterful job of switching up the C's during the postseason and might do a similar thing with Klay/Grimes next year.

This is the new NBA. With a new CBA. The Wolves dont have the ammo to trade for Lauri and field a competitive team. They would get laughed at if they offered KAT straight up for him in this new NBA.

Apparently Perk is saying he will amputate his left big toe if Lebron takes a pay cut. That’s solid entertainment right there.

It’s a 50 50 revenue split with the players

It’s weird cause the cap is well below that

I guess everyone just gets a check to make up the difference at some point

Tatum earned it.

Toronto's Scottie Barnes 5 years and 270 mill. Fuck that. And yes, I would say that if he played for the Lakers.

Insane.

It's neat that the Wolves are interested and all, but...for what? If jazz take back KAT I will throw a party, if it is McDaniels I will all of the sudden be very concerned about that 2031 pick they owe San Antonio
