Is it though? They expect to compete for a championship. Pistons would be ecstatic to sniff the play-in. Which is the actual easier path to perceived success?

The Celtics were just too good plus there were lots of injuries.

And very little star power to bring in casuals. Luka ain't it yet.

The only way this dude gets fired is if the organization feels extremely confident that he was being intentional in not doing his job well.

I'd be curious if they sue for some kind of ethics clause.

Not sure. I just skimmed the article because I figured it would be very difficult. Bringing him in would be paying 3 star level contracts which would deplete the rest of the roster. They're better off trying to tweak some of the roster around AD and Lebron than going that route.
