Trading Sandin for a scoring d-man (already have) and a first rounder (don't need) and doing nothing with it while keeping 25 defencemen is terrible. Just no words. They have such obvious needs and they did nothing.

After all of this, the final kick in the rear would be if the Coyotes end up winning the draft lottery. A team that isn't even trying to be competitive has no business being in the position to select Connor Bedard.

Might as well go full gong show as the league is essentially there already.

I'd prefer neither of those teams, but fully on board with gong show. ESPN trashing the league yesterday tells you all you need to know.

I think it makes sense for Bedard to go to a team that just lost a legendary goalie.
