I guess you make valid points. I guess my view comes from I would take the M’s great staff against the Rangers great offense and the Rangers below average staff vs the average Mariners offense where the ball won’t fly. The final home stand the crowd will also help the team. But who knows, you make great points that I don’t really have an answer back to.We're significantly worse at home by a lot, not a little. And a big part of that is that we've given up a lot more runs than we've scored at home. Cold weather has nothing to do with it since the other teams are playing us at home, right, lol? If anything, big hitting teams have even more advantage on us at home when it's warmer.
I understand that we rely on pitching and have a pitcher friendly ballpark, but we've also struggled mightily to score runs at home vs on the road. Just stating facts here. TX and Hou have not had that struggle. They're #3-4 in the AL right now for runs scored on the road and we're far enough in the season to account for pitcher friendly parks they've hit in this year.
