Man I’m telling ya, KC just matches up, every game is difficult .. M’s have shown they can compete with the big boys …

M's have a much worse record at home than on the road. These next 2 series against bottom feeders is super important.

Wish we could be playing the TX teams on the road instead of at home to close out the season. This next month is not going to be good for my heart. Seriously stocking up on healthy foods lol.

Jerry has clearly never valued the closer position, and I'd hate for the closer by committee approach to be the downfall of this team.

Disagree. IMO they should want a team that is only offense right now to play in Seattle once (hopefully) the weather changes. Houston is a toss up cause their potential is great anywhere.

Jerry’s philosophy is odd and why getting rid of Sewald was odd. Jerry hated the term closer, always talked about Brash and Munoz as the high leverage bullpen arms, yet always used Sewald as a closer. I will admit I fell for it and didn’t respect Sewald enough cause I fell for the you put your best bullpen arm in regardless of inning.

We're significantly worse at home by a lot, not a little. And a big part of that is that we've given up a lot more runs than we've scored at home. Cold weather has nothing to do with it since the other teams are playing us at home, right, lol? If anything, big hitting teams have even more advantage on us at home when it's warmer.

I understand that we rely on pitching and have a pitcher friendly ballpark, but we've also struggled mightily to score runs at home vs on the road. Just stating facts here. TX and Hou have not had that struggle. They're #3-4 in the AL right now for runs scored on the road and we're far enough in the season to account for pitcher friendly parks they've hit in this year.

I don't expect them to use Munoz in all or even most save situations against good-hitting teams. I foresee a lot of SABR heavy decisions. It's how DiPoto and Servais both prefer to work late innings. I guess we'll see how it works out.
