You want to see what has Jazz fans real upset, it is the rumors they are looking to trade Sexton. That guy is out here talking about how much he loves Utah, in the NBA 99.9% of the players love to shit all over it. The idea they would trade a valuable player that actually WANTS to be here is hard to absorb.

There is more discussions in our work chats about his tweets liking the mountains than any actual sports talk. It is a big deal for a lot of them.

He is.

Regular playing time could help with that.

He hasn’t really had that before landing in LA.

Even then, Ham sat him more than necessary for stretches…imo

Lakers took off when he got most of Troy Brown’s minutes.
I just think Reaves is better....when he got inserted in the starting lineup the Lakers were a lot better.

I was just about to say this.

Those athletes didn’t have the same access to more modern medicine, training.

Do I think a little creatine would turn Bird into having Pat Coughnington hops?

No.

But, modern medicine might have helped with his back.

FFS, wanna know how far health care has come?

Magic should be dead.

Aids is like Cancer now.

It’s no longer a death sentence and you can live a semi normal, long ass life, even if you aren’t rich.

If they can do that, making Bird’s back hold up a few more years is certainly possible.

Yeah, that's where folks lose me when they talk about other eras and want to just "hot tub time machine" guys into other eras.

If todays top players were playing in earlier eras, they would have access to the same training, coaching, nutrition, etc. as players of that era and would be different players.

If greats from the past were in todays era, they'd be taking advantage of what is available today.

Bottom line, it's pretty safe to say that a great player will find a way to be great in virtually any era.

Thank You, and it is important nobody remembers me defending the Gobert trade when it first happen by claiming KAT could not possibly be worse on Defense than he was in the paint. That kind of thing could ruin my reputation. That take was so bad I had to admit hurricane was right about something. Truly a dark day.

Thoughts and prayers, bro.

The rockets getting these 2 guys makes a lot of sense for them

If their kids start making the leap forward this is a really fun team to watch

If they don’t…it doesn’t really matter anyway

Please, PUHLEEEEEEEEAAAAAASSSSSEEEE…..

Just STFU about this already.

This fucking guy made Miami miss out on Beal.

Lavine is still on the board.

Might be time to pivot.

Love Dame the player.

But, he has no balls in this situation.

Just say what you want to do and stop stringing these teams along.

I just think Reaves is better....when he got inserted in the starting lineup the Lakers were a lot better.

I wouldn't say better, they have different games that were of equal importance to the Lakers success.

Both could shoot and defend, but they defend against different players (Rui on bigs, Reaves on guards). Reaves was also able to spell Lebron from having to run the offense all the time.

Also, Rui has a strong midrange games, Reaves is better from 3.

I think it’s a combination of them loving Clarkson and having too many other guys at the position.

Sexton is more undersized 2 than a pg.

He and Clarkson are duplication of skill sets.

Add in Agbaji, who can shoot, and the kid you Drafted in George, and Sexton is a decent trade chip, if healthy.

I haven’t even mentioned THT, who would be the guy I would trade, instead of Sexton.

But, Sexton has the bigger contract.

I agree with all of this. I just don't think ownership realizes how important it is to the local fanbase to have a player that loves Utah. Basketball reasons he is the clear choice to trade, fan morale you are taking a significant gamble.

Does he think Claxton, Simmons, Mikal and Patty Mills is giving him a chance at a ring?

They aren’t.

He said that he does not want to join a super team , like he will win otherwise.

Denver is well built.

Bucks and Celtics too.

But, he needs 2 other Stars and that is a goddamn Super Team.

Sure, but he wasn't the only change. That was also when DLo and Vando were added to the mix (and Beasley, but he wasn't much help most of the time).
