Brown can get the bag in Portland.
Not the bag he can get in Boston
I believe it’s legit 100m less

Clippers don’t have that many picks to deal. I would settle for one if Powell is in the deal. If Powell becomes Marcus Morris then I want two picks and some draft swaps 2028 and later. Clippers pick swaps could be valuable because post Kawhi PG13 there will be a drop off. Even more so if they chase a Harden now to maximize their prior investment in Kawhi/PG13.
Anyhoo, let's see some trades or more FA signings on the 4th!!!
Do you really think Boston will try to pay that? Not the bag he can get in Boston

He's got an elbow issue that three doctors have looked at and refuse to do surgery. It's some kind of inflammation that he's taking Antibiotiucs for. The Clippers have called the Celtics about him according to Early Edition last night. He may be going toe the clips and that would make Pritchard the piece in the deal. Shit's gonna happen no matter what we think. Pieces gotta be moved and it all comes down to who is willing to eat a bit than anyone else. Then again, involve a third team and things can move much quicker.Brogdan is a poisoned pill right now because of his medical report. Can’t trade him right now.
Actually if he doesn’t get traded Harden is on Philly’s books for 36.5. But if he’s traded he has a kicker that takes him to 41 million so the money works already with just Harden. You need both of them to make the deal work anyway.
Powell
Roco
Batum
Is just under 42m
So Philly would need to add some salary with house or kork the most obvious ones
The clippers would badly need to make a follow up trade to find some new depth at pf though
More than if he walked as a FA after bring traded to Portland though, right? Not the bag he can get in Boston

Your rumor yesterday was Grant Williams and Brogdon. I’m sure there are millions of rumorsBoston Celtics.
Jalen Brown was supposed to have signed his Max $295M - 5 year extension, this past Friday, July 1.
It's the 4th of July and Brown won't speak with the media and Brad Stevens says he's very busy cleaning up the roster and getting a team ready for the Summer League in Vegas.
Rumor in Boston is that Portland will take Brown for Lillard. BUT, Big But, Brown has to agree to sign his extension with Portland before the deal can be done.
Can or will any other team offer Portland a 24 year old All-Star, 2nd Team All-NBA player????
Stay tuned......................

Funny thing is it wouldn’t surprise me if Boston lanced him bc Portland would take Brown in a heartbeart and it’s a move Boston would take the risk on to get a title. They traded for Kyrie, not nearly as risky but still
Dame is Dame but it’s still a VERY risky move. Boston has not won a title with this core but they are still extremely young. Brown and Tatum can be together for at least the next 5 years to win a title and both are still young. Trading for a 33 year old PG shrinks their window. Tough decision. Of course after Dame, Tatum is still there but are Brown and Tatum ever going to win a title? That’s what Stevens has to decide.I'd be shocked if the Celtics traded Brown plus for Dame.... or gutted their front court and depth for Dame.
We're firmly in the realm of idle talk here.
In 2-3 years both Tatum and Brown will be 60 million dollar players if I understand what they’re eligible for with Super Maxes.Dame is Dame but it’s still a VERY risky move. Plus Portland doesn’t need another PG.Brogdan is a poisoned pill right now because of his medical report. Can’t trade him right now.
Tatum and Brown aren't clutch though...that is the thing. With Dame you get that guy for the postseason...Dame is Dame but it’s still a VERY risky move. Don’t tell me Tatum isn’t clutch after what he did to the Sixers in Game 6. Was quiet all game and then showed out in the 4th.Tatum and Brown aren't clutch though...that is the rub. With Dame you get that guy....
Game 7 at home vs Miami...the Celtics lostDon’t tell me Tatum isn’t clutch after what he did to the Sixers in Game 6. Was quiet all game and then showed out in the 4th.
That was Dealin' Danny, not Slick Stevens. Brad's been given the go ahead to do whatever is necessary to hang #18They traded for Kyrie, not nearly as risky but still
