Who wants that Simmons contract? LOL.
Be interesting to see what they have to pay to get that accomplished

Guessing Portland has some good psychiatrists with all the rain there and stuffBe a few 1st rounders just to take that contract.
I’m guessing Miami is trying to do the deal without including Martin and that’s not going to get it doneWhat am I missing on the Blazers not wanting Herro? I haven't looked at their roster...Do they have a glut of guards or something?
I get that he's not Dame. But he's an All Star caliber shooting guard. Who couldn't use one of those?

They have Scoot Simons and Shaedon Sharpe. The biggest issue is that Herro is the centerpiece of the deal. If it were Bam and Herro I think they would see it differently. What am I missing on the Blazers not wanting Herro? I haven't looked at their roster...Do they have a glut of guards or something?

And his contract isn't as bad as some that just got paid in FA.Okay, that makes some sense. I can see why Miami would not want to give up both Herro and Martin.
The Blazers need a better PR person or something because flat out saying they have ?no interest" in a player of Herro's quality is making them look stupid, imo.
This isn't the Lakers trying to overvalue THT. Herro is an actual good player and he's young. Seems like exactly what they should be looking for.
They have Simons, Scoot and Sharpe but just 10 guys under contract. They should be able to flip Herro or Simons.

Additionally, Herro is only a one way player and a volume shooter. He’s subpar defensively and isn’t really a playmaker your team can play through. He’s a one trick pony. These, combined with what thunderc said makes more sense.

They might have leverage since he is under contract but it's really not a good look to come across like they are.Okay, that makes some sense. I can see why Miami would not want to give up both Herro and Martin.

A Scoot and Herro backcourt would be pretty fun though....the Blazers would just need to flip Simons....unless they went with a 3 guard lineup...Additionally, Herro is only a one way player and a volume shooter. Herro is no scrub.
