Not in a Harden deal. In a Tobias Harris deal I would agree. But Harden >>>> Powell or the Clippers aren’t doing this at all. People here are down on Harden and so am I but at the end of the day, he’s still a 20 and 10 guy. Morey showed during the Ben Simmons drama that he will hold on to an asset until a deal makes sense. If the word on the street is legit and Kawhi and PG13 want Harden and Balmer wants to open his arena with excitement, I don’t see how them refusing a deal if it doesn’t include Morris actually becomes a deal breaker.

Not a bad night for Chet @thunderc . 4 blocks. 15 points and 9 boards. Only shooting 1 three you’d like to see him shoot a higher percentage but overall not a bad box score. I didn’t watch any of the game though. What did you think?

It depends on what comes back in the Dame trade but Simons is a guy that I could see them moving in a separate deal after all this shakes out. Does anyone know Portland’s cap situation? Can they take back a bigger contract than what goes out?

This conversation started because you said you thought Shaq would “destroy” Embiid and be the best player in the league.

My point is that Embiid is a better player. He can move his feet defensively and is better suited to guard in today’s game where Shaq would have trouble.

I did and I stand by it. This is the same guy Timmy and David Robinson playing together couldn’t stop. The same guy Dikembe Mutombo had no answer for. Look I get it, Embiid is the more skilled big Man…but so were Duncan, Robinson, and KG, and nobody can tell me with a straight face these 3 were better than Shaq.

Even in today’s NBA, I don’t believe for one second KG and Duncan would be better players than Shaq. He was just so dominant physically that nobody could contain him.

I see where you’re coming from though, I just believe Shaq was built different and would be a great player regardless of the ERA he played.

Horford’s presence on the roster allows them to dump Nurkic and not worry about the 5 position. Additionally, Horford would help space allowing Scoot to develop early with paint to work in getting to the rim.

They need players....if Knox and Johnson had their options exercised they only have 9 guys right now...

Brown and Horford plus a pick is too much?

You could use Kornet as a backup big or sign some guy....Bamba is still out there....and you only need somebody for 13-15mpg or so.

Lilliard, Tatum and Porzy is a really good trio....especially if Porzy is yr #3....and you have your closer for the playoffs....

RWIII and Horford are not 35 mpg guys (even in the playoffs)... and all 3 of RWIII, Zinger and Horford need load management all season long.

I think that is a deal they would go for....they have a lot of guards but not a lot of players in general....he could play SF or they could deal somebody....Simons most likely.

He definitely looked like he hadn’t played in a year I thought. Had a couple bad turnover and wasn’t very smooth. To be expected though. I was surprised he played as many minutes as he did.
