I always think LaVine is capable of playing the wing when in reality he can’t. But also if the Nets are giving up assets, they have some wings to throw in but nothing remotely close to LaVine talent

You don't think it had anything to do with it not being too sound a business plan to commit a combined $60 million a year to two wing players when your franchise player as it is plays point?

Lavine can't play at the 3. Lavine would crowd Scoot, Simons, Sharpe, Johnson at 2. Depending on how often Scoot plays at 1, the need a PG, Center, Sf. In that order I think.

Thay trade adds 2 of those, but the main piece is a poor fit.

Utah has the players and picks to give Portland a nice return....may not be a title contender with Dame, Mark and Kessler but Ainge could build a solid playoff team there.

Dame played his college ball at Weber State in UT and really enjoyed it there.
