Schoonemaker or whatever his name is is a great reciever. He sort of reminds me of Jimmy Graham. He has good speed. I like the pick. Teams will need to account for him..stack the box and he could make them pay. He reminds me of a receiver. They had a similar guy in Blake Jarwin but he was always hurt.

Pretty underwhelming draft to me. What happened to getting some offensive targets to help Dak. And he needs help, he’s proven he can’t get it done when what’s already there. Look what happened when Pollard went on the 49’s playoff game. The offense couldn’t do anything. Better hope CeeDee doesn’t get hurt.
I think their main targets are gone every round and they have to settle for plan b. I am very sure Kincaid and or one of the wideouts were the main targets round 1. As long as drunken Jerry not the lone voice in the war room I got some hope that this will turn out well.

Mazi Smith has real potential . He is a very large and powerful individual. Teams will need to double him or he will cause havoc. Michigan did not ask him to rush the passer that much. Quinn will.Schooner's is very advanced and pro ready as a reciever. Dak will like him.

It them stinking Giants getting pay back in round one for what happened a couple years ago when the Cowboys traded with the Eagles and the Giants lost out on Devonta Smith.

Love the 4th round DE Fehoko. Related to Vita Vea. Was driving and listening to the FAN. They were all pretty psyched too. The one thing that really stood out was if you combine his sacks and TFLs, he averaged over 2 plays in the backfield per game. That's nuts. I also like that he is a little bigger. Maybe a SDE in the base and a DT in the nickel. Really happy about this one. A guy Quinn may move around and add to the rotation if he pans out.

12 sacks and a 99 run grade as per PFF. Lower competition, but Wow.

At this rate, our backup guard who ends up starting by mid-season.
Apparently they think they got the pieces in place on OL. I guess we will find out. I would have preferred a RB or OL in round 4. I don't get the pick. The DE room is loaded and unless he beefs up and plays DT I don't understand the pick. But then again I did not understand the Bland pick either.

I think it will be interesting how Quinn uses these guys. When the Cowboys need to stop the run maybe put Hankins and Mazi in and see what happens.. I just read they may have this rookie play 3 tech some. Then you got overshown who is another tall guy and is similar to Kearse, but more explosive . This defense is going to be good, real good

There is OL at least. Im not sure any of our backups deserve a roster spot so fine churning them all

College Tackle but probably a Guard

Overview
Richards is thick-hipped with good lower-body power fueling above average drive-blocking potential. He clears space when he’s centered into opponents, but he lacks the body control and hand consistency to do so on a regular basis. Pass protection concerns will be diminished with a move inside, but there will still be work needed when it comes to getting his feet in position to slow interior rushers. Richards’ drive blocking and potential position versatility give him a shot at a backup role with upside.

Strengths
  • Three-year starter.
  • Well-developed lower half.
  • Understands where to target hand placement.
  • Carves out space with drive-blocking power.
  • Climbs his combo blocks with adequate timing.
  • Fires heavy hands into pass rusher.
  • Makes proper adjustments against twisting fronts.
  • Play strength benefits him in scramble situations in protection.
Weaknesses
  • Below average body control.
  • Hasn’t learned to control and sustain his blocks.
  • Lacks athleticism to make all the blocks in space.
  • Heavy-legged getting around the corner when pulling.
  • Below average reactive athleticism in protection.
  • Fails to find proper footing to square up bull rushers.
  • Might not have slide quickness to protect outside edge.

They are moving Ball to guard. He could be on the bubble. The thing I wonder about is they passed on the bigger guards early and maybe they did that due to scheme.

Maybe a guy like walentko can also move inside? He moves well if they zone block more

Isn't Waletzko like 8 feet tall and a little on the thin side for his height? I'm not sure he moves inside. Ball, sure.

Walentzko probably will compete for the swing tackle? He had seemed to move ahead of Ball on the depth chart before he went on IR
