You really wonder why they didn't have a bubble - I mean, it's only for a couple of weeks. It might not have made a difference in the end, but it just looks like they were hoping for the best.

You really wonder why they didn't have a bubble - I mean, it's only for a couple of weeks. It might not have made a difference in the end, but it just looks like they were hoping for the best.
I saw something that said they were not in a "bubble" officially because they were staying in a hotel where other people were staying also. Even though they pretty well isolated and stayed within either the hotel or the rink.

So my guess is it wasn't a "bubble" because the IIHF didn't want to shell out to keep a whole hotel to themselves.
