Glad that the kids are getting a chance to finish what they started, but after this tourney, how about Alberta takes a break from hosting for about 10 years or so. The behavior of their citizens has frankly been appalling and not deserving of a tourney of this stature.

Attendance for these opening round games has been friends and family mostly. Summers are pretty short in Canada and when you combine that with some pretty expensive tickets, I'm not surprised.

/There could be some Hockey Canada backlash as well at play here, but I think it's mainly the nice weather and ticket prices keeping people away
