I can't blame the Rangers. Maybe some of us were a little quick, but the Rangers were patient enough I believe.

He never really gave the Rangers a reason to give him a full-time job. He did flourish with BAL as a regular, and his post-Rangers stats are solid, but I don't fault the Rangers for moving on.

Last year, Adolis Garcia walked in just over 5% of his plate appearances. This spring, so far, he has that percentage up to 20%. However, he is only hitting .200 this spring.

Outstanding start by Hearn so far. Gotta think the #2 slot is his.

Hanser Alberto got about 180 AB here over 3 seasons and 4 years(he missed one year due to injury). Baltimore let him play just about everyday and he did well for one year. Not so much, after that.

Watching the game today, you can see and feel good things coming. Obvious to me,I may have been wrong condeming JD. Appears a lot of his work has primarily led up to what we are seeing today.

He deserves credit for recognizing that new voices needed to be in the conversation.
