CBS Sports - Malik Willis (23rd, 1st round), Kenny Pickett (30th, 1st), Matt Corral (33rd, 2nd round), Sam Howell (47th, 2nd round), Desmond Ridder (74th, 3rd round), Carson Strong (104th, 3rd round)

ESPN - Malik Willis (21st, 1st round), Kenny Pickett (22nd, 1st), Matt Corral (34th, 2nd round), Desmond Ridder (36th, 2nd round), Sam Howell (50th, 2nd round), Carson Strong (93rd, 3rd round)

Pro Football Focus - Sam Howell (22nd, 1st round), Malik Willis (25th, 1st round), Desmond Ridder (43rd, 2nd round), Matt Corral (44th, 2nd round), Kenny Pickett (48th, 2nd round), Carson Strong (68th, 3rd round), Bailey Zappe (97th, 3rd round)

Chris Simms' top 5 - Matt Corral (6'2, 212 pounds), Kenny Pickett (6'3, 217 pounds), Malik Willis (6'1, 219 pounds), Sam Howell (6'1, 218 pounds), Desmond Ridder (6'3, 211 pounds)

This year's quarterback class is good news, bad news. The good news is we have seven guys who could potentially go in the first three rounds. The bad news is, none of these prospects are seen as top 20 material. Last season, we had five quarterbacks taken in the top 15 picks.

Current sport betting odds have Malik Willis has the favorite to go off the board first for a quarterback.

Which quarterback prospect do you like best and why?

Malik Willis

Kenny Pickett

Sam Howell

I'm not sure any will become anything other than a guy. Hard to say, but I hope minimum of 3 get drafted before my team selects. Four would be outstanding and possible. Hardest position in all of sports in my not so humble opinion. :tinfoil3:

They're all projects. I'd keep track of which team drafts each guy because that's probably going to be the best indicator

I’ll gamble on the guy who took his Group of 5 team to the forbidden playoff for $100 Alex.

I'm not impressed with any of them. Am I missing something?

I have a hard time doing mock drafts with this class because I can't get a good read on these QBs. Pass rushers and OTs should fill out many of the top picks but after that the draft is flat

Pickett to Carolina makes sense. Mobile and pro ready.

Corral to Seattle seems believable. Put him in a simple system and he can make the throws.

Willis to New Orleans. Jameis can start a year and let him develop.

Ridder to... Lions at the back end maybe.

Steelers and Texans maybe kick the tires on Howell or Strong after rd1

My guesses.

Pickett to Carolina
Ridder to Saints
Willis to Steelers
Corral to Lions

Not really. I really like Pickett, Willis, Ridder, Howell, and Corral as prospects, but I am not pounding the table for them. That's sort of the big thing. Nobody is really saying these guys are "can't miss". The enthusiasm factor seems low.

Okay, Corral is Chris Simms' guy and Corral looks awful. Like rd3 prospect.

Willis and Pickett seem like the top tier. I'm not convinced the others go top 50.

The only QB remotely worth a 1st is Willis.

Good luck on talking yourself into the numerous career backups. One of them might even surprise you and be the next Derek Carr. This class stinks.

Baker to Carolina gaining some
Steam. If that happens this all vastly changes.

How so? As noted by Simms, his passing skills are off the chart. Cannon arm, Off platform throws, and mobility are top notch.

Hes the typical great arm, and intangibles with alot of tape that doesnt support the nfl or tape that just doesnt translate. Leader of men. Hope he does well. That ole miss system is something.

That said, I do think Simms deserves the benefit of the doubt. If my eyes are saying third round and he is saying rd1...maybe Im missing his upside. Deep ball accuracy was an issue with both Mahomes and Allen coming out and it was fixed with both so it might not be a big deal
