2022 Preseason Thread

Pittman was our main special teams' guy, so I am curious who fills that role.

I assume one of Board or Woods. Parker was one of four gunners -Benson, Melifonwu and Price were the others. CJ Moore and Walker are both personal protectors for Fox and yet both Moore and Melifonwu are currently injured.

There are a lot of questions with the remaining roster to be worked on.

Jerry Jacobs was placed on PUP this morning.

I would be shocked if Parker does not end up on the PS if he is not claimed.

Maybe he ends up on our PS. We cannot place a waiver claim on one of our own players who was waived or released by us so, there's that aspect to ponder.

I think I read where someone stated that during last year's waiver after final 53, there were only 27 players claimed.

Signing players to the PS isn't different than placing a claim on a player.

Some on POD were talking about waived Jet QB Chris Streveler. He started out at Minnesota and then transferred to South Dakota. He has played for the Cardinals also. Maybe for PS

What more can you say about Chris Streveler? The former CFL quarterback led his third comeback win in as many preseason games. Streveler might not make the roster, but there was nothing more he could have done to make his case.

Pittman pretty well established he’s LB5 on the roster. But keeping five LBs is no safe bet, not on a defense where there were more than two LBs on the field for exactly 10 reps in the entire month of August.

Could it be due to vanilla defense and not showing what the real scheme will look like once the regular season begins?

I love watching Ragnow in punisher mode.
Sewell is equally enjoyable to watch. Look at how much athleticism Sewell shows in this clip. Quick feet, extremely quick laterally to move his man.
