Not that I saw. What I read is if Dallas was closer to The Ravens over, he'd have signed.

I'm not mad.
I am good with looking for some youth.
If we were a player away to a superbowl maybe, but not a fan of big long contracts for players long in the tooth.

This is why I was kind of relieved when I heard Gregory decided to join the Broncos. I was a Gregory fan,so I got mixed feelings as well. But, I just dont think he was worth that big payday. The stats dont match that type of pay raise and he is nearly 30. He also has injury issues and of course all the off field baggage. He also does not always play smart. His penalties helped the Niners win that playoff game.

I wanted Gregory back but never at a huge deal. What he got was probably right around what was expected I think. Looking back on it now I'm very happy he went to Denver. Very happy.

I think the idea of Armstrong replacing him that Jerry tries to sell is asinine, BUT on run downs Armstrong is much better than Gregory. So, IMO, we are better off with the cap space and our current rotation. Because we have Micah who will play a lot of edge if our other LBs are even decent, my gut tells me Fowler, Williams and Armstrong on passing downs and Armstrong and Gholston on run downs will be pretty good and especially because with Micah and Tank none will likely get much attention from the offense. If (stressing if) Fowler or Williams steps up it could be dominant and I do think Fowler will bounce back, not to a double digit sack guy but at least to the 6 that Gregory had last year and I think Williams could be better than all of them on passing downs. Basham by the way, I think will be cut.

I think our defense is a good DT and LB (or two) from being really good and it's possible those players are on the roster or that we will add someone in the next month and a half.

I think Randy was ungrateful after the Boys stuck with him during his “issues”. Then he made a business decision to sign with the Bronco’s and I’m glad Jerry did not up the ante and sign another bad contract like Zeke’s. We have said for years Jerry gets emotional on some of these contracts when he needs to be more “sorry that’s just business “ and move along.

I don't know. My expectations for him for this year are pretty low right now and he may still be looking at a small suspension. When I start hearing he matures and dedicates himself 100% to football I'll see that as huge.
